WaterWise is Distributing High Efficiency Toilets on June 13th June 5, 2009

On Saturday. June 13th, customers of Golden State Water Company, in partnership with Three Valleys Municipal Water District, can come to San Dimas High School and pick up a free high efficiency toilet (HET). HETs use much less water per flush than standard 3.5 gallon toilets. Most use only 1.28 gallons per flush, and some use only 1.1 gallons.

We have them installed in our office bathroom and ours have a dual flush feature. One button is a half flush and the other is a full flush. This is very helpful in conserving water.

I am happy to be involved with the distribution event on June 13th. I will be there to help distribute the toilets, along with my co-workers. WaterWise has been involved in many HET distribution programs in the past and will continue to do its part to help people conserve water.
